Sonata at 48th and Drexel for flute & piano (2020) by Tim Lane

The Sonata is written in four movements that can be performed as separate, single units or as a complete group of all four movements. The outer two movements are more technically and rhythmically challenging than the inner two movements. The following sound files are “midi-realized” versions of each movement. An acoustic recording of the work is planned for the Fall of 2020 and, once done, the midi files will be replaced by the acoustic files.
